A: No. Your camper should bring a lunch with them each day |

A: Yes! The Full Day, Residential, and College ID camps will all have training sessions specifically designed to develop goalkeepers. Please visit the camp you are interested in for further details. |
Q: Are parents allowed to visit campers in the dorms? |
A: Parents are welcome to visit campers in the lobby of the dorms during down times. Parents will have access to dorm rooms for move in and move out (and of course emergency/illness situations). Campus rules allow for only staff and campers to be on the floors of the dorms. This ensures the safety of the campers. |
Q: If I come with a group/friend, will we be on the same team? |
A: We do everything we can to make sure friends play together. When splitting campers into groups at the start of camp, the Camp Director will ask friends to sit together. He will then make sure to place them on the same team. We want the campers to have the best possible experience and we realize that typically means playing with friends! |
Q: If I request a roommate, will we be placed in the same dorm room? |
A: Yes, we will make sure roommates are paired together as long as both request each other when registering. Please note that only 2 campers are allowed to stay in a room due to fire code restrictions. |
Q: Can I check-in late? |
A: Yes, but please communicate with Paula Woodbury at 945-230-4030 or info@smusoccercamps.com to coordinate your check in time. |
Q: Will I need to bring additional money? |
A: For half and full day camps, meals are not included. We have a "camp store" that provides snacks, sweet treats, beverages, and gear so we suggest sending your camper with a few extra dollars for this. For resident camps, all formal meals are included in the overnight camp fee, however, many campers like to purchase pizza or other snacks after the evening session. Also, some campers may want to take advantage of discounts offered on the latest soccer gear available at our camp store. Please ensure campers are provided for appropriately. |
Q: Is there supervision in residence halls? |
A: The campers have 24-hour supervision. There are coaches on each floor and an athletic trainer always on call in case of emergency. The university also has hall managers at the front desk and campus police are always on call. |
